Today, there is a need for quality education in higher education so that people living in the society and nation can acquire the necessary skills and competencies to live meaningfully in a competitive, global world. High-quality education meets the needs of students while promoting their future development.The role of teacher is becoming increasingly important in improving educational quality. An effective teacher recognizes that teaching requires wearing many hats to ensure that the school day runs smoothly and that all students receive a quality education. To achieve quality education, a shift in teacher\u2019s activity focus on learners, also known as student-centred approach to teaching and learning, is required.Active teaching, supportive teaching, and inductive teaching and learning are all components of a student-cantered approach. This paper attempts to explore the importance of student-centred approach to learning in achieving quality education in higher education.<\/p>\n
