Balancing Act: Exploring Global Challenges and Strategies in Implementing Human Rights from an International Perspective

Human Rights, as enshrined in various international conventions and declarations form the cornerstone of a just and equitable global society. However, the practical implementation of these rights encounters numerous challenges that stem from cultural differences, political considerations, economic disparities and the complexities of the global legal framework. The effective implementation of human rights across borders faces several key challenges such as discrimination, armed conflict, violence, poverty, global inequalities, impunity, democracy deficits, weak institutions, climate change, migration, cultural gaps, knowledge gaps, security concerns and extreme conflicts etc. Discrimination based on factors such as race, gender, religion or nationality remains a significant obstacle to the effective implementation of human rights. Conflict and violence disrupt societies and lead to widespread human rights violations. In regions affected by armed conflict, it becomes challenging to protect and promote human rights. Poverty and global inequalities create barriers to the realization of human rights. This research delves into the multifaceted realm of human rights implementation on a global scale. It addresses the challenges faced by nations in upholding and ensuring the realization of human rights and proposes solutions that can pave the way for a more effective and inclusive international framework. By examining diverse cultural, political and economic contexts, this study aims to contribute to the ongoing discourse on human rights and promote the development of practical strategies for their implementation.
